This week we have David Gilbert on the podcast. David is a performance and life coach that assists his clients in embodying their peak state of performance. He specializes in the use of peak states (i.e., flow) to maximize productivity and life satisfaction.
David also recently launched The Golden Life, an online community that applies the practices of peak performers and principles of spiritual alchemy for personal transformation. Here members develop their ability to see the treasure that lies behind our greatest pains and struggles, find accountability partners in the pursuit of optimal experience, and learn how to alchemize the power of peak states into daily life.
In this episode, David and Erick break down the importance of peak states, integration, and embodying personal transformation by showing up and making change in our communities.

This week we have my good friend Hayden Mora on the show. I met Hayden through Fit For Service and wanted to bring him on to talk about how we can contend with ideas we don’t agree with in good faith. In this episode, we lay the ground work for having difficult conversations with people we disagree with, and we walk through an example of what one of these conversations might look like.
A quote from Hayden’s recent article on Medium sums our conversation up perfectly…
“I’m not suggesting we water down our truths, if anything, I think we need to bring fuller, more nuanced, more vulnerable versions of our truth to one another. I am arguing though - that we must find ways in which we do not allow our passion and conviction for creating a more beautiful world - to be a part and parcel of a process in which we undermine the humanity of those who disagree about what that world could be.”

This week we have my good friend Francesca Barone on the podcast. Francesca is a naturopathic medical practitioner, holistic nutritionist, and now co-founder of Anam Cara Healing Retreats. For the past few years she has been living Costa Rica, working full time for Soltara Healing Center before moving to The Sacred Valley, Perú in September of last year where she co-founded an Ayahuasca Healing Retreat Center with her partner Neils.
She now owns and operates exclusive, small-group plant medicine retreats with Ayahausca and Huachuma throughout Perú and Mexico. She is a trauma-informed practitioner, certified with Dr. Gabor Maté in Compassionate inquiry, and currently amidst her training to become a somatic experiencing practitioner.”

This week we have artist Ben Stewart on the podcast. Ben has created some incredible films and series, including DMT Quest, Kymatica, Esoteric Agenda, Ungrip, Waking Infinity & Psychedelica. Most recently, Ben directed Awake In The Darkness, a film following Aubrey Marcus through 6 days in complete darkness.

This week we have Dr. Dan Engle on the podcast.
Dan Engle, MD, is a psychiatrist with a clinical practice that combines aspects of regenerative
medicine, psychedelic research, integrative spirituality, and peak performance.
His medical degree is from the University of Texas at San Antonio. His psychiatry residency degree is from the University of Colorado Denver, and his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship degree is from Oregon Health & Science University.
Dr. Engle is an international consultant to several global healing centers facilitating the use of
long-standing indigenous plant medicines for healing and awakening. He is the Founder and Medical Director of the Kuya Institute for Transformational Medicine in Austin, Texas, Full Spectrum Medicine, a psychedelic integration and educational platform, and Thank You Life, a non-profit funding stream supporting access to psychedelic therapies.
